COVID 19  COVID-19, also known as coronavirus disease 2019, is a highly infectious respiratory illness caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus. Since it was first identified in Wuhan, China in late 2019, the virus has spread rapidly across the world and was declared a pandemic by the World Health Organization in March 2020. The virus is primarily spread through respiratory droplets when an infected person talks, coughs, or sneezes. It can also be spread by touching a surface contaminated with the virus and then touching your face. The symptoms of COVID-19 vary widely and can range from mild to severe. Some common symptoms include fever, cough, fatigue, and difficulty breathing.
